Job summary

Truist is seeking an experienced DevOps/Cloud Engineer to design, build, and optimize enterprise CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. You will leverage GitLab, Terraform, and AWS to automate delivery, ensure security, and improve platform reliability across multiple environments.

The role emphasizes IaC tooling, automation scripting in Shell and Python, and collaboration with platform engineering, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to drive modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, network, database and middleware technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Automate build, test, security scanning, deployment, and release processes.
• Develop IaC solutions with Terraform for AWS infrastructure.
• Create reusable GitLab CI/CD templates and standards across teams.
• Develop automation with Shell scripting and Python for infra tasks.
• Manage and support AWS services, ensuring security, scalability, and cost optimization.
• Integrate DevSecOps controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor pipeline performance and infrastructure health, driving improvements.
• Troubleshoot complex build, deployment, and automation issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance DevOps practices.
