Job summary

Bart & Associates, LLC is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join a contract with a federal government client. The role emphasizes secure, automated software delivery using GitLab CI/CD, GitOps with ArgoCD, Terraform, and Kubernetes in cloud or hybrid environments.

You will collaborate with software engineers and data scientists, integrating security checks and ensuring scalable, auditable deployments while advancing modernization efforts. Security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

7–10 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
Experience in federal or secure environments.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab/Harness.
Design and manage GitOps pipelines with ArgoCD for declarative deployments.
Integrate security practices across the DevOps lifecycle with automated testing.
Collaborate with developers, data scientists, and engineers to enforce DevSecOps standards.
Ensure resiliency and scalability of cloud or hybrid environments.
Monitor and optimize performance, security, and health of pipelines.
Document, train, and promote best practices across teams.
Develop tooling and automation through programming and scripting.
Identify areas to automate across platforms and drive improvements.
Set up large cloud clusters and support Change/Service Requests.
IaC via Terraform for provisioning and configuration management.
