Job summary

Bart & Associates, Inc. is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support a federal government contract, focusing on automated CI/CD pipelines, GitOps with ArgoCD, and secure software delivery.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in related field.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required.
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps principles, CI/CD, security automation, and compliance in federal or secure environments.
• Hands-on expertise with GitLab, Jenkins/Harness/ArgoCD and CD pipelines.
• IaC experience with Terraform for cloud/hybrid provisioning.
• Proficiency with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and integrating security controls into pipelines.
• Experience with Dynatrace, Elasticsearch, and Splunk for monitoring/logging.
• AWS services and cloud platforms experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Harness.
• Design GitOps pipelines with ArgoCD for declarative deployments.
• Integrate security testing and compliance checks throughout the DevSecOps lifecycle.
• Collaborate with software engineers and system engineers to enforce standards.
• Ensure resiliency and scalability of cloud or hybrid environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance and security of pipelines and infra.
• Maintain documentation and provide training on best practices.
• Develop custom automation tools and scripts.
• Proactively identify areas to automate across platforms.
• Support large cloud cluster design and deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform.
