Job summary

Nityo Infotech Limited is seeking an experienced DevOps Tooling Engineer to provide L2/L3 support for Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS Lambda. You will troubleshoot pipelines, manage runners and credentials, and resolve integration issues across cloud and on-prem tooling.

The role requires hands-on scripting in Groovy, Python and Shell, strong Linux/Windows server experience and collaboration with US teams during business hours. On-call rotation is part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Jenkins pipelines, agents, plugins and shared libraries.
• Strong knowledge of GitHub Actions workflows, runners and secrets.
• Extensive AWS experience including Lambda, EC2, IAM and S3.
• Docker and Kubernetes expertise with cluster troubleshooting.
• Proficient scripting in Groovy, Python and Shell; REST API familiarity.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows servers.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS Lambda.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures, runner/agent issues and plugin conflicts.
• Administer Jenkins and GitHub Actions: access, credentials, runners and org settings.
• Support Lambda functions used in DevOps automation: errors, timeouts, IAM issues.
• Manage Harness, uDeploy and Nexus where applicable: access and repo mgmt.
• Own incident response for tooling outages with stakeholder updates and RCAs.
• Perform upgrades, patching, backups and maintenance of tool infrastructure.
• Coordinate with US-based teams during US business hours; participate in on-call rotation.
• Develop runbooks and knowledge articles to reduce recurring incidents.
