Job summary

eTeam is seeking a Devops Engineer to drive AWS cloud implementations and GitLab CI/CD pipelines. The role focuses on automation, IaC with Terraform, configuration management via Ansible, and GitOps using ArgoCD. The candidate will support on-prem GitLab runners and be part of an on-call rotation for priority incidents.

Remote work is offered; strong cloud security experience, scripting, and a proactive approach to optimizing deployments are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, Route53, VPC).
• Hands-on CI/CD using GitLab and security tooling (SCA/SAST/DAST).
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Configuration management with Ansible.
• Experience with on-prem GitLab runners and fleet management.
• Automation scripting for platforms and tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for containerised apps on AWS.
• Maintain GitLab on-premises servers and runners with multiple executors.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible playbooks.
• Implement GitOps workflows with ArgoCD or equivalent tool.
• Support out-of-hours on-call incidents and security reviews.

Job Description:

• Supporting and advising on AWS cloud implementation with specific attention to EC2, Route53, VPC, VPCE/Private Links, ELB, Secrets Manager, IAM, RDS, Control Tower
• Hands on implementation of working with GitLab CICD pipelines and shifting left security (SCA, SAST, DAST)
• Implement application CICD pipelines for containerised applications both using Docker-Compose on EC2 and EKS using ArgoCD or equivalent GitOps operator
• Infrastructure As Code using Terraform
• Configuration orchestration using Ansible
• Support of jFrog Artifactory & Xray self-managed instances
• Work to maintain GitLab on-premises server and fleet of GitLab Runners using different executors
• Writing scripts to deliver/work with our platforms, such as developing Docker/Terraform/Ansible files for a variety of systems/frameworks.
• Resource to support Out of hours On-Call' Service for Priority 1 and Priority 2 Incidents
