Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Engineering Manager 2 – DevOps Lead to guide a team of ~10 in an Agile setting, delivering DevOps products for flight and mission critical systems. The role is on-site in San Diego, El Segundo, or Palmdale, CA with some travel.

You will plan, execute, and deliver work packages, mentor staff, and collaborate with Software Development, Systems Engineering, and Test teams to meet contract requirements. A TS/SCI style clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 9+ years of related engineering experience, or Master’s with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.
• Experience leading Agile development teams and acting as Product Owner or Scrum Master.
• Experience with DevOps tools and software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of ~10 to develop and maintain software production tools and processes in an Agile environment.
• Serve as work package manager for planning, execution, and delivery of DevOps products to meet requirements.
• Collaborate with Software Development, Systems Engineering, and Test organizations to meet mission objectives.
