NTT DATA Romania is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with Azure expertise to drive reliability and automation across our cloud platform. You will design scalable Azure infrastructure, implement CI/CD, and strengthen monitoring and incident response.

The role requires hands-on Azure, Terraform IaC, AKS, GitHub Enterprise, ArgoCD, and strong SRE mindset to continuously improve platform performance and security.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in CS or related field.
• 5–10 years in DevOps, Cloud, SRE, Platform, or Infra Eng.
• Hands-on Azure cloud services experience.
• Terraform IaC and GitHub Actions experience.
• Strong Kubernetes/AKS administration skills.
• Proficient Linux admin, Bash scripting; Python a plus.
• Knowledge of networking, DNS/SSL/TLS, performance tuning.
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise and GitHub security features.
• Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex incidents end-to-end.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with Azure expertise to drive the reliability, automation, and continuous improvement of our cloud platform. The role focuses on designing and supporting scalable Azure environments, implementing robust CI/CD practices, and enhancing operational excellence through infrastructure automation and monitoring.

What you'll be doing

• Design and manage scalable, secure, and reliable Azure infrastructure
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
• Administer and support AKS environments
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
• Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Manage Azure networking and connectivity services
• Automate operational processes through scripting and tooling
• Support GitHub Enterprise and DevOps best practices
• Drive platform reliability, performance, security, and continuous improvement

What you'll bring along

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or related field
• 5-10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, SRE, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Strong production support experience
• Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Strong understanding of Azure networking
• Experience with AKS, Application Gateway, Traffic Manager, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Managed Identities, Private Endpoints, and VNets
• Strong Kubernetes & AKS administration and support skills
• Experience with Helm, Ingress Controllers, scaling, upgrades, and monitoring
• Ability to troubleshoot networking, DNS, SSL/TLS, performance, and availability issues
• Strong Terraform experience
• Knowledge of reusable modules, remote state management, and infrastructure lifecycle management
• Solid Linux administration skills
• Bash scripting experience required, Python is a plus
• Strong problem‑solving and root cause analysis skills
• Comfortable supporting applications end-to-end across cloud, networking, Kubernetes, and application layers
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of reusable workflows, branch protection, and GitHub security features
• Experience troubleshooting runners, pipelines, and connectivity issues
• Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps practices
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
