Job summary

NTT DATA Romania is seeking an experienced Backend/Fullstack Developer to design, build, and maintain robust backend services and APIs. You will work with Azure PaaS, RESTful microservices, and modern DevOps workflows in a fast-paced Agile environment.

The role requires strong C# .NET expertise, SQL Server, and collaboration with clients to deliver scalable solutions. Frontend exposure (Angular/TypeScript) is a plus, with opportunities for growth and certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in informatics or CS.
• 5+ years as Backend or Fullstack developer with focus on backend systems.
• Strong experience with C# .NET and SQL Server.
• Experience with RESTful microservices in .NET Core.
• Familiarity with Azure PaaS and DevOps tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend-focused software applications.
• Design and integrate components ensuring cross-system connectivity.
• Write clean, testable backend code and APIs.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop and maintain high-quality software applications, focusing primarily on backend systems.
• Design and integrate technological components, ensuring seamless connection requirements across systems.
• Write well-structured, testable, and efficient code for backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with clients to discuss technical solutions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the platform.
• Contribute to technical documentation, including instructional guides, pitch materials, and detailed technical specifications.
• Work closely with Agile Scrum teams, adhering to Agile principles and processes for efficient delivery.

What you’ll bring along

• Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Backend or Fullstack Software Developer with a strong focus on backend systems.
• Strong experience in working with C# .NET (Core, 5, 6, 7, 8 or newer) and .NET Framework for backend development.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server, Service Bus, and ARM templates.
• Experience with programming RESTful Microservices in C# using .NET Core.
• Solid understanding of Azure PaaS Services, such as App Service, App Insights, and CosmosDB.
• Very good English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, solution-oriented environment.
• A great teammate who thrives in a collaborative and Agile environment.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
• Experience with frontend technologies, particularly Angular and TypeScript is nice to have
• Familiarity with DevOps platforms (Azure DevOps, YAML Pipelines, Docker, Terraform, Helm) is nice to have
