Job summary

Leidos is seeking a TS/SCI-cleared DevOps Software Engineer to join a high-energy team building and deploying a cutting-edge technology stack in support of the DIA-NMEC DOMEX Technology Platform. The majority of work is on-site in Bethesda, MD, with a flexible schedule and occasional remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Strong Linux proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD orchestration and GitLab.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
• Demonstrated success working in cross-functional engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain a full-stack, containerized microservices architecture.
• Support systems administration, installation, configuration, and DevOps adoption across teams.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, architecture, development, security, operations, and integration teams.
• Deploy, triage, and maintain production pipelines built on Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
• Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation to accelerate development.
• Design and support scalable, redundant infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.
• Use Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments for new features and evolving requirements.
• Partner with Systems Engineers to architect solutions for new capabilities.
• Contribute to engineering documentation, diagrams, and models.
• Participate in Agile release planning, scrums, design sessions, and bug triage.
