Job summary

Leidos is seeking a TS/SCI-cleared DevOps Software Engineer to join a high-energy team supporting the DOMEX Technology Platform for the DIA-NMEC. Most work is on-site in Bethesda, MD with a flexible schedule and occasional remote tasks.

You will design, deploy, and maintain a containerized microservices stack, improve CI/CD pipelines, and work with Kubernetes, Elasticsearch and Kafka in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant DevOps/Software Engineer experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain/maintain Poly.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or higher certification.
• Strong Linux and Kubernetes administration experience.
• Experience with containerized microservices and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain a containerized microservices stack.
• Support systems administration and DevOps practices across cross-functional teams.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation to accelerate development and reliability.
• Configure Kubernetes deployments using Helm for new features.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineers to architect solutions and document designs.
• Participate in Agile release planning, scrums, and design sessions.
