Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Northridge, CA is seeking a DevOps Engineer Level 2/3 to design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for missile programs within the Advanced Weapons unit. The role is on-site with no remote work, and requires an active DoD Secret clearance.

You will build secure, scalable pipelines, integrating Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, and the Atlassian suite, while collaborating with embedded teams on RTOS projects such as VxWorks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a STEM field with relevant DevOps/embedded experience.
• Experience building secure, automated CI/CD pipelines for embedded software.
• Familiar with RTOS environments (VxWorks/FreeRTOS/QNX) and real-time constraints.
• Proficient with Atlassian suite and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for missile program codebases using Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, and Atlassian tools.
• Develop and maintain pipeline automation scripts and build configurations for embedded software.
• Implement static analysis and vulnerability scanning to enforce secure coding practices.
• Collaborate with embedded engineers on real‑time, safety‑critical applications and cross‑site teamwork.
• Coordinate across networks to standardize configurations and document architecture and controls.
