Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) seeks a Principal DevOps Engineer in Manhattan Beach, CA to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mission-critical software. You will set up development environments, work with cross-functional teams, and ensure reliable builds and deployments.

Required are a STEM degree, 5+ years DevOps experience or 3+ with a master’s, and active DoD Top Secret clearance. On-site work in Manhattan Beach is expected.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in STEM or related field from ABET accredited university.
• 5+ years in DevOps or software build management; or 3 years with a master's degree.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance; recent adjudication within 5 years.
• Clearance to Highest Level of ATDC SAP; CI/CD experience required.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for production deliveries.
• Set up Development, Test, and Build environments for the team.
• Collaborate to deliver products and enforce version control processes.
• Install, test, and verify software products; maintain base repos.
• Provide on-site support for build/installation issues.
