Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of relative experience; Master’s with 3+ years; PhD + 1 year.
• Active Top Secret clearance and enrolled in Continuous Evaluation.
• Ability to meet customer-specific security screening requirements within management timelines.
• Willingness and ability to work onsite full-time.
• Experience with C, C++, C#, Java, JSP, Web development, test automation, data storage technologies, Windows Server, Linux.
• Familiarity with modern programming standards and features (C++17+).
• Demonstrated ability to analyze system requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Proven ability to design, code, modify software, and debug defects; open software/system architecture experience.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems.
• Develop software using modern languages to support government requirements.
• Implement modular, scalable, reliable, and high-performance software.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers on electronic data processing systems.
• Determine user needs and analyze system capabilities to resolve issues.
• Prepare operating instructions and develop compilers, assemblers, and OS components as needed.
• Develop software infrastructure to support CI/CD, metrics, and MLOps.
• Ensure software engineering best practices are applied and maintained.
• Work with Software Leads and Architects to understand program intent and outputs.
• Support customers on site during installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
