Job summary

Nightwing seeks a skilled DevOps Engineer to automate, optimize, and manage cloud‑based engagement kits for a U.S. Government customer.

You will build robust CI/CD pipelines, manage source control, and implement IaC to ensure scalable and secure deployments in a mission‑critical environment. The role emphasizes collaboration with architects, administrators, and security teams, with a focus on automation, monitoring, and rapid incident response capabilities to support national cybersecurity

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required and U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Strong background in DevOps, automation, and software engineering.
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code and cloud deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for engagement kits in secure environments.
• Manage source control repositories, branching, and code reviews.
• Implement IaC to automate provisioning and configuration of cloud resources.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of cloud infrastructure.
• Enhance engagement kit capabilities through automation and scripting.
• Collaborate with architects, admins, and security teams to streamline deployments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for operations visibility.
• Support troubleshooting and performance tuning during active operations.
• Maintain change management processes for consistency and compliance.
• Contribute to security hardening and compliance automation.
