Nightwing is seeking DevOps Engineers to automate, optimize, and manage Bespin cloud engagement kits. You will build robust CI/CD pipelines, manage repositories, and apply infrastructure-as-code to ensure scalable, secure deployments for rapid incident response and threat hunting operations.

Nightwingis supporting a U.S. Government customer toprovide rapid deployment and management of secure cloud-based engagement kits for cyber incident response and threat hunting operations. As part of theEngagement Support Services (ESS)contract, this program enables analysts to quickly access the tools and environments they need to investigate cyber threats affecting federal agencies, state and local governments, and critical infrastructure. Working on this team means directly supporting the nation's cybersecurity defenders by ensuring they have reliable, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure available within hours of a cyber incident—helping protect America's digital infrastructure when it matters most.

DevOps Engineers will automate, optimize, and enhance the deployment and management of Bespin cloud engagement kits. These positions focus on building robust CI/CD pipelines, maintaining source control repositories, and implementing infrastructure-as-code practices to ensure consistent, scalable, and stable deployments.

Required Skills

• Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, automation, or software engineering roles
• Strong proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
• Experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Expertise in scripting languages (Python, Bash,YAML)
• Knowledge of Git and version control best practices
• Experience with AWS cloud services and APIs
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with configuration management and automation tools
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems

Desired Skills

• Experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, ECS)
• Knowledge of security automation and compliance-as-code
• Experience supporting operational or mission-critical environments
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Background in software development or systems engineering
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or High School diploma and 7+ years of directly relevant experience

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar certification
