Job summary

Leidos is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the Intelligence Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). The role focuses on platform architecture, automation, and cloud infrastructure with emphasis on Linux and Windows environments, Agile practices, and scalable deployment solutions.

The ideal candidate has extensive DevOps experience, strong scripting and programming skills, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Masters in Engineering or CS with 5+ years DevOps experience
• Fluent with Git and version control best practices
• Strong Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows admin knowledge
• Experience integrating Jenkins/Bamboo, Docker & Kubernetes for automated deployment
• Experience with caching, MySQL, Elasticsearch, and security practices
• Experience with Agile and AWS cloud or virtualized servers in PaaS environments
• Proficiency in at least one language (Ruby, C/C++, Go, Python, Java)
• Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Support the development lifecycle including platform design, deployment, and debugging
• Build and maintain a release pipeline for secure production delivery
• Automate deployments across environments via scripting
• Configure sites/applications with Puppet and Ansible, maintain Jira/Confluence
• Assist in designing web service infrastructure and deployments
• Identify and implement process improvements through automation
