Job summary

Leidos is seeking a security-focused engineer to monitor and secure IaC-enabled infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments. You will implement security controls during design and deployment, and help patch, maintain and improve critical systems.

The role requires collaboration across teams and a proactive, self-starting mindset. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, US citizenship, and a active DoD TS clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant IT field.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• DOD Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Cyber Security and IaC certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operational and development systems and investigate user issues related to IaC in cloud-based environments.
• Ensure security concepts and controls are integrated into design and architecture phases.
• Assist with patching, deployment, maintenance and improvement of systems.
• Engage in Agile planning, technical design, development and integration activities.
• Monitor multiple sites (physical and cloud) and support users while configuring IaC security components.
