Job summary

Leidos in the National Security Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA) is seeking a Software Engineer to design, debug, and integrate software across cloud and on-prem environments. Analyze requirements, derive performance specs, and implement new features.

The role emphasizes cloud-native development, Linux environments, microservices, and DevOps practices with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git/GitLab. A TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; four (4) years additional SWE experience may substitute for a degree.
• Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
