Job summary

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to support a mission-critical program in the Intelligence Sector. You will work on platform architecture, automation, and cloud infrastructure across Linux and Windows environments, applying Agile practices and modern deployment techniques.

The role requires strong scripting, programming (Ruby/C/C++/Go/Python/Java), and experience with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS. A Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or computer science.
• 8+ years of technical experience with at least 5 years in DevOps.
• Fluent with Git and version-control best practices.
• Experience with AWS cloud and Linux/Windows administration.

Responsibilities

• Support development lifecycle: design, deployment, and debugging.
• Build and maintain a release pipeline for secure production delivery.
• Automate deployments across environments using scripting and toolkits.
• Configure sites/applications via Puppet and Ansible, and maintain Confluence/Jira software.
• Assist in designing/maintaining web service infrastructure and deployments.
• Identify and implement process improvements through automation.
