Job summary

Leidos is seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong Git, Linux and Windows expertise to design, build and automate deployment pipelines across cloud and on-premises environments. The role requires Agile experience, programming skills, and a Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.

The position offers a $25,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, holidays, 401K with match, flexible schedules, and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (e.g., Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace) or CS with 5+ years DevOps experience
• Fluent with Git and version control practices, including branching/merging
• Strong Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows administration
• Experience integrating Jenkins/Bamboo, Docker, and Kubernetes for automated deployment
• Cache technologies (Memcache/Redis/Active MQ), MySQL, Elasticsearch/Kibana
• Security practices, networking, PCI compliance, and AWS cloud experience

Responsibilities

• Support the development lifecycle including platform design, deployment, and debugging
• Build and maintain a release pipeline for fast, secure production delivery
• Automate deployments across environments using scripting languages and toolkits
• Configure sites/apps via Puppet and Ansible, maintain Confluence/Jira
• Assist in designing/maintaining web service infrastructure and deployments
• Identify and implement process improvements through automation and streamlining
