Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support cloud and edge infrastructure at Fort Meade, MD. You will automate deployments, manage Kubernetes clusters, and ensure high availability across cloud and edge environments.

The role requires strong AWS/Kubernetes expertise, Terraform/Ansible skills, and a DoD 8140/8570 compliant background, with leadership responsibilities and on-site work 4–5 days a week.

Qualifications

• Active Secret U.S. Government Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• 5+ years DevOps or Software Development experience (or 3 years with Master’s).
• Strong Kubernetes and AWS experience (EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda).

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS, especially EKS.
• Support deployment of edge/infrastructure on-premise and portable equipment.
• Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability.
• Manage Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the infrastructure.
