Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support and scale cloud infrastructure in AWS (EKS) and edge on-premise deployments. You will automate deployments, manage Kubernetes clusters, and collaborate with development teams to push applications into production.

The role requires strong Linux, Python/Bash/Go development, and experience with Terraform/Ansible. You will mentor engineers and work on-site in San Antonio, TX several days a week.

Qualifications

• Top Secret clearance required
• TS/SCI security clearance preferred

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of AWS cloud infrastructure (EKS)
• Support on-premise and portable Edge infrastructure deployment
• Automate deployment processes for reliability and scalability
• Manage Kubernetes containers and AWS resources (EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda)
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate apps into infra
• Monitor production systems and troubleshoot issues
• Drive improvements for high availability and performance
• Mentor and lead engineering teams as needed
• Work on customer site in San Antonio, TX 3–5 days/week
