Job summary

The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium is seeking a Full-time Development Operations Engineer to join its IT Department in Toledo, OH. You will help build and maintain software and infrastructure, designing automation for internal and guest-facing processes, and supporting Zoo operations.

You will develop, deploy, and troubleshoot software, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and integrate systems while documenting procedures and exploring new technologies.

Qualifications

• Must have 21+ years of age and valid driver's license.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Basic understanding of databases, web servers and OO programming languages.
• Experience with Odoo, n8n, DigitalOcean, AWS, NoSQL, Redis, Metabase a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot software within IT.
• Build, improve and maintain automated workflows and CI/CD processes.
• Integrate internal and external systems and support end users and vendors.
• Create technical documentation and operational procedures; research new tools.
• Provide technical support across IT and Zoo departments.
