Qualifications

• Strong background in Linux systems, including shell scripting and perf tuning.
• Solid understanding of Internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL).
• Experience operating large-scale, high-uptime environments.
• Coding in Python, PHP, or Perl/Ruby.
• Knowledge of deploying and maintaining web applications.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Familiar with monitoring principles and tools (e.g., Zabbix, New Relic).

Responsibilities

• Become the subject matter expert for a particular service, collaborating with the software team.
• Provide operational support for deployments and production incident response.
• Develop infrastructure automation tools to reduce manual effort and preempt issues before they degrade.
