Job summary

GCS Recruitment Specialists is seeking a DevOps / Automation Engineer to support the design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of production software systems. This role emphasizes automation, deployment, troubleshooting, and collaboration with software engineering and QA teams.

You will design and implement technical products, develop monitoring, automate deployments, and ensure release readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3-6 years of relevant engineering, DevOps, systems, or infrastructure experience.
• Experience with automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• Experience with Jenkins and continuous integration.
• Experience with GitHub, including branching and tagging strategies.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with virtual and cloud infrastructure; AWS and OpenStack preferred.
• Strong scripting and coding capabilities.
• Ability to work with a variety of open-source technologies and tools.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with QA and Software Engineering teams.
