Job summary

Partner's Consulting, Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a remote contract engagement to build and operate a scalable cloud platform with strong automation and governance.

The role emphasizes observability, AI oversight readiness, and secure delivery across traditional apps and AI-enabled solutions. The ideal candidate will have AWS and IaC experience, robust CI/CD capabilities, scripting skills, and familiarity with containers, APIs, and distributed systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • AWS cloud engineering and infrastructure-as-code experience.
  • Strong CI/CD, automation, DevOps, and platform engineering background.
  • Experience with containers, APIs, distributed systems, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar).

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and employs CI tools such as Jenkins, Git, Nexus, and configuration management automation tools such as Chef to improve delivery speeds and efficiency.
  • Focuses on day-to-day tasks such as closing vulnerabilities and patching applications like Tomcat.
  • Works on CI/CD requirements: building pipelines, creating and managing the build and deploy process, and assisting with infrastructure requirements.
  • Responsible for developing and helping DevOps documentation for DevOps tools and practices.
  • Provides Level 2 support, managing tickets from various IT and business units.
  • Identifies manual processes that can be automated.
  • Guides application teams in designing, building, testing, and deploying changes to existing software.
  • Leverages automation to increase review speed, consistency, and accuracy while reducing process friction.

Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote

Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer who will build and operate the cloud platform, automation, and delivery capabilities that enable teams to develop, deploy, and run secure, reliable, and scalable solutions. This role ensures operational excellence through strong DevOps practices while supporting observability, governance, compliance, and AI oversight requirements.

The DevOps Engineer uses automation to balance speed, reliability, and governance with a strong focus on observability, operational excellence, and platform enablement. The ideal candidate is comfortable supporting both traditional applications and emerging AI-enabled solutions.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Experience in security telemetry, DevSecOps, and regulated industry.
  • Experience with AI governance, model monitoring, and agent / LLM observability.
