Akina Inc. in Fort Meade, Maryland, seeks a Development Operations Engineer to provide Tier I/II support for the integrated watchfloor capability in a 24x7 environment. You will act as the SPOC between the service provider and users, logging incidents and performing initial diagnosis using established knowledge bases.

The role requires Linux, Python, and Bash expertise, plus familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes. Clearances, 24x7 shifts, and a strong compensation package accompany this position.

Competenze

• Two years of experience with software and system deployments, Linux administration, containerization, cloud deployments, and Development Security Operations.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science; Master’s may substitute.
• Experience may substitute for degree according to policy.

Mansioni

• Provide Tier I/II support for the watchfloor in a 24x7 environment.
• Serve as SPOC between service provider and operational users.
• Log, categorize and prioritize incidents via a ticketing system.
• Perform initial diagnosis using knowledge bases and incident models.
• Escalate unresolved incidents to Tier II as needed.
• Maintain incident status communications with users.
• Document troubleshooting steps to expand the knowledge base.
• Provide 24/7 coverage via rotating 12-hour shifts (0500 and 1700).
