Job summary

Akina, Inc. seeks a Development Operations Engineer 2 in Fort Meade, Maryland. The role focuses on system administration and deployment of SIGINT survey and geo-location systems, with emphasis on Kubernetes, Linux, Docker, and IaC tooling.

You will design, deploy, test, and maintain complex networks and pipelines, including Jenkins/GitLab CI, Ansible, and Terraform, while ensuring high availability and security in hybrid/limited environments. Clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years' experience with software and system deployments, Linux system admin, containerization, cloud deployments, DevSecOps.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science; MS substitutions possible.

Responsibilities

• System administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, test, integration, and configuration of SIGINT survey, collection and geo-location systems and software.
• Designing solutions, integrating, configuring, deploying, testing and providing ongoing maintenance for network devices.
• Manage and configure Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Experience building and maintaining pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab; IaC with Ansible or Terraform.
