Job summary
Scrumconnect is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to support large-scale digital services in a complex cloud environment. You will build, maintain and optimise AWS infrastructure, deployment pipelines and cloud operations across environments, collaborating with developers, architects, testers and delivery teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions.
The role requires strong experience with AWS services, CI/CD, infrastructure automation and modern architectures including
Qualifications
- Strong AWS design, deployment and support experience.
- Experience with multiple AWS environments.
- CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
- Experience with modern architectures: React, microservices, Lambda, Kafka.
- IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Networking: Transit Gateway and PrivateLink.
- IAM/MFA administration and security controls.
- Experience with Agile delivery teams.
Responsibilities
- Set up, configure and manage multiple AWS environments.
- Build, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage AWS infra for React, microservices, Lambda and Kafka.
- Support ETL and RPA integrations.
- Implement secure networking and governance.
- Manage API gateway (Kong Enterprise).
- Ensure resources are tagged for FinOps.
- Monitor performance, availability and reliability across environments.
- Collaborate to improve automation and deployment efficiency.
- Troubleshoot infra and deployments.
- Contribute to cloud security and continuous improvement.
- Support WCAG 2.2 AAA accessibility in front-end services.
