Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions in Maryland seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to support a modernization effort for NSA tooling. This role requires a TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance and involves deploying applications, configuring software, and maintaining high system availability.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, on-call pager coverage on a rotating schedule, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability.

Job Description

• Efforts will focus on DevOps engineering of a modernization effort to converge NSA’s authoring, dissemination, and other supporting tools.
• Responsibilities will include: deploying applications; installing and configuring complex software; managing network servers and technology tools; monitoring and maintaining the system for required levels of performance; and troubleshooting issues and outages.
• Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly one week out of every 4-6 weeks).
