Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This hybrid role involves supporting application teams with Harness adoption and onboarding activities, configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with enterprise platform teams to resolve technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Support application teams with Harness adoption and onboarding activities in alignment with enterprise standards and processes.
• Coordinate with application teams and enterprise platform teams to address Harness onboarding prerequisites, dependencies, and technical issues.
• Configure, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines using Harness, Ansible, Bitbucket, and JFrog Artifactory.
• Support application onboarding and associated deployment automation.
• Develop and maintain YAML configurations, Ansible playbooks, shell scripts, and deployment automation.
• Design, implement, and support OpenShift environments for application deployment and scaling.
• Troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline, deployment, integration, and configuration issues.
• Support non-production and production releases, including deployment triage and post-release activities.
• Standardize and centralize application configurations, automation scripts, and deployment processes.
• Perform proofs of concept for new DevOps tools and capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual activities and improve deployment reliability.

Essential Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Harness and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience supporting application teams with Harness adoption, integration, and deployments.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Bitbucket, JFrog Artifactory, and OpenShift.
• Strong Linux and shell scripting skills.

Additional Skills And Qualifications

• Experience supporting migration from existing deployment tools/processes to Harness.
• Experience with enterprise-scale DevOps and CI/CD environments.
• Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle/Exadata, and Microsoft Server environments.

Work Environment

This position is based in Charlotte, NC, with a hybrid work model that combines remote and in-office work. The role involves using technologies such as Harness, Ansible, Bitbucket, JFrog Artifactory, and OpenShift in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $65.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
