Job summary

Citi is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our Pune team. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate testing, and optimize hybrid infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance.

You will collaborate with development and QA to ensure smooth delivery across the software lifecycle, implement security and compliance practices, and help scale observability and monitoring across environments.

Qualifications

5–8 years of DevOps experience.
Proficient in Java and Python programming.
Experience with SQL Server and Sybase databases.
Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code.
Proficient with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and uDeploy.
Experience managing hybrid and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Citi standard tools.
Enable automated testing, integration, and deployment workflows.
Configure OpenShift, ECS and other orchestration tools.
Collaborate with development and QA teams across the lifecycle.
Automate repetitive tasks with scripting for legacy platforms.
Optimize resource utilization and maintain high uptime while reducing costs.
Establish best practices for vulnerability scanning, compliance checks, and secure configurations.
Implement Citi standard tools for observability and monitoring applications.
