Job summary

TNS Automation Development is seeking a passionate Platform Engineer to mature our DevOps processes and automation infrastructure. The ideal candidate has experience mapping, building, implementing, and maintaining platform management plans and enjoys network automation.

We prefer someone with 10-15 years in IT and a broad skill set to contribute to our global team. The Platform Engineer will own and optimize our GitLab foundation, drive CI/CD pipelines, and coordinate release planning with

Qualifications

Experience with SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
Release management best practices and deployment coordination.
Software development and engineering experience.
Network and software automation expertise.
Monitoring platforms experience (Netreo a plus).
Proficiency in Python, AWS, Ansible, Terraform, Docker.

Responsibilities

Shape our DevOps automation and AI journey.
Own our GitLab foundation including standards around repo creation, pipelines, and deployment.
Design, build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
Standardize and coordinate unit, integration, and security testing.
Plan, coordinate, publicize, and monitor application releases and updates.
Maintain the health and stability of our automation and orchestration applications, plugins, pipelines, and functions.
Define and document environment and infrastructure requirements (cloud, virtualized, physical).
Define patterns and policies for safe use and deployment of AI-assisted automation.
Work with Security and Risk teams to continuously assess our security posture.
Interact with internal teams for requirements gathering and deployment coordination.
