Job summary

TNS Automation Development is seeking a passionate Platform Engineer to mature our DevOps processes and automation infrastructure. The ideal candidate has experience mapping, building, implementing, and maintaining platform management plans and enjoys network automation.

Qualifications

• Experience with SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Release management best practices and deployment coordination.
• Software development and engineering experience.
• Network and software automation expertise.
• Monitoring platforms experience (Netreo a plus).
• Proficiency in Python, AWS, Ansible, Terraform, Docker.

Responsibilities

• Shape our DevOps automation and AI journey.
• Own our GitLab foundation including standards around repo creation, pipelines, and deployment.
• Design, build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Standardize and coordinate unit, integration, and security testing.
• Plan, coordinate, publicize, and monitor application releases and updates.
• Maintain the health and stability of our automation and orchestration applications, plugins, pipelines, and functions.
• Define and document environment and infrastructure requirements (cloud, virtualized, physical).
• Define patterns and policies for safe use and deployment of AI-assisted automation.
• Work with Security and Risk teams to continuously assess our security posture.
• Interact with internal teams for requirements gathering and deployment coordination.

The Platform Engineer Will:

• Help us shape our DevOps Automation and AI journey;

The position will require interaction with internal teams (Global Systems, NOC, and stakeholders in the Business Units) for requirements gathering and deployment coordination.
