Dartmouth Health is seeking a technician in the device clinic of the Cardiovascular Medicine ambulatory clinic. You will monitor patients with implanted cardiac devices, schedule remote transmissions, troubleshoot connectivity, educate patients, and assist RNs and vendors in direct patient care.
The role involves hands-on support, device interrogations, documentation for billing, and participation in process improvements within a collaborative team.
This is a technician position in the device clinic of the Cardiovascular Medicine (Cardiology) ambulatory clinic. This position is responsible for ensuring that patients with implanted cardiac devices are receiving appropriate monitoring and follow up, including but not limited to scheduling remote transmissions, trouble‑shooting connectivity issues, providing patient education about remote monitoring and billing, following up on missed transmissions, and responding to patients’ questions. The position is also responsible for assisting device RNs and vendor representatives with direct patient care in the ambulatory clinic, and for participating in process improvement projects. Qualified candidates will demonstrate a willingness to work collaboratively with a tightly functioning team of providers, RNs, techs, and schedulers.
