Batteries Plus in York, PA is hiring a hands-on Repair Technician to service phones, tablets, and small electronics, with weekly shifts in York and Lancaster. Training is provided to develop specialized skills while you grow a long-term technical career.

Expect to earn $20.50–$23.50 per hour plus a $5/hour weekend premium and additional incentives. This role emphasizes quality repair, teamwork with sales staff, and ongoing skill development in a structured environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• Weekday and weekend availability.
• Ability and willingness to work scheduled shifts at both our York and Lancaster locations.
• Demonstrated hands-on mechanical or technical aptitude through work experience, training, education, or personal experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with small components.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured repair procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Device Repair: Perform phone, tablet, and small-electronics repairs using structured repair procedures and quality standards.
• Automotive Services: Cut and program automotive keys and complete battery testing and installation services.
• Diagnostics & Quality: Troubleshoot issues, follow repair guides, document completed work, and focus on getting the job right the first time.
• Customer Support: Communicate professionally with customers about service options, repair expectations, and completed work.
• Technical Operations: Maintain an organized work area, care for tools and repair inventory, and follow safety and service procedures.
