Job summary

Benchmark Human Services-CT is seeking a Developmental Therapist (DT) to support infants and toddlers in Connecticut Birth to Three programs. The role involves evaluations, family coaching, and implementing IFSPs to foster child development in natural environments.

Candidates should have a Master’s degree, a valid CT teaching license or DSP certification, and at least one year of early intervention experience. Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Federal and State regulations including Connecticut Birth to Three.
• Administer evaluations and assessments.
• Develop rapport with children, families, and team members to promote learning.
• Develop joint plan with family and recommend strategies using evidence-based practices.
• Implement IFSP for enrolled families and determine service frequency.
• Provide families with information and support to enhance development.
• Utilize coaching model and natural environment teaching.
