Job summary

Lumibility's Kidsteps program in Newington, CT seeks a Developmental Therapist to lead family-centered activities supporting early development and IFSP implementation. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week exempt position with a salary range of $65,000 to $85,800 annually.

You will assess children and families, coordinate services, and document to meet state quality standards, while enjoying comprehensive benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• BA from accredited college or university in related field; MA preferred.
• Valid teaching certificate from CT CSDE endorsements #112, #113, #065, or #165.
• Experience in children and family services with a focus on Early Intervention.
• Must have a valid US driver's license with acceptable driving history per Lumibility policy.
• Must have internet access, cell phone, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess children and families to plan, develop, implement, and review curriculums and IFSPs meeting developmental needs.
• Complete and maintain records in accordance with regulations.
• Perform service coordination to ensure EI services meet outcomes and state standards.

Kidsteps early intervention program is seeking an outstanding Developmental Therapist to ensure the development and implementation of activities that are family-centered and promote positive outcomes! Location: Newington area

Salary Range: Between $65,000-$85,800/annually

Responsibilities

• Evaluating and assessing children and families to assist with and planning, development, implementation, and review of curriculums and IFSP's that will meet the individual developmental needs of young children and their families.
• Completing and maintaining records in accordance with applicable regulations and as assigned.
• Performing functions of service coordinator including ensuring that Early Intervention services achieve desired outcomes for families and children served and meet the standards as established by the state's quality assurance team.

Requirements

• BA from accredited college or university in related field required. MA preferred.
• Must possess a valid initial, provisional or professional teaching certificate from the Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE) in endorsements #112, #113, #065, or #165.
• Experience in children and family services with a focus on Early Intervention.
• Must have a valid United States driver's license with an acceptable driving history as defined by Lumibility's policy.
• Must have internet access, cell phone, and reliable transportation.
