Benchmark Human Services in Connecticut is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to support very young children through Birth to Three programs. You will conduct evaluations, participate in IFSP development, and provide EI coaching to families in natural environments.

The role covers East Haven, New Haven, and West Haven, and requires CT OT licensure, a degree in OT, and a valid CT driver’s license. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Occupational Therapy license in CT.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in OT.
• Valid CT driver’s license.
• Prefer 1 year of early intervention experience.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Comply with Connecticut Birth to Three and related regulations.
• Administer evaluations and assessments.
• Develop rapport with children, families and team members.
• Develop IFSP with family and implement based on needs.
• Provide families with information, skills and support to enhance development.
• Utilize coaching and Natural Environment Teaching approaches.
• Participate in Birth to Three trainings and meetings.
• Accept Service Coordinator responsibilities as appropriate.
• Maintain health and safety standards for staff and clients.
