Development Workshop, Inc. is seeking a Development Specialist for the Adult Life Program in Rexburg, Idaho. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, you will work with great co-workers in a friendly, supportive environment and help individuals reach their goals.

Starting wage is $18 per hour DOE. You will advance the mission, maintain accurate records, ensure quality and compliance, and mentor staff while providing crisis support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in special education, psychology, or related fields.
• 5 years of supervised experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and public relations skills.
• Ability to train, lead, and inspire staff.
• Excellent time management and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Advance the mission and deliver high-quality services with compliance.
• Create a safe, respectful environment for participants.
• Oversee growth and development through data analysis, planning, and implementation.
• Provide guidance and support to staff through mentoring and feedback.
• Assist with crisis needs using de-escalation techniques and positive support.
