Job summary

Under supervision, you will perform preventive maintenance, assist with repairs, and help manage energy systems. The position offers full-time employment with shifts that may vary and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

HVAC/R certification and 2 years of mechanical maintenance or construction-related experience.
4 years of mechanical maintenance or construction-related experience acceptable in lieu of the 2-year requirement.
Holds EPA refrigerant handling certification (Type I/II or Universal).
Valid state driver’s license with clean motor vehicle record where required.

Responsibilities

Complete required paperwork (expense vouchers, weekly summaries, refrigerant logs, work orders) and submit to leadership.
Develop scopes of work to update HVAC/R or energy management systems.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC/R equipment under supervision.
Troubleshoot HVAC/R problems and coordinate major repairs.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and Walmart safety policy.
