Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services in Zanesville, OH is seeking a Developmental Disabilities Program Manager to lead the coordination of high-quality supports for individuals in their homes. The role is on-site with a focus on ensuring excellent service delivery and community engagement.

The position oversees service coordination, staff supervision, and behavior support strategies, with a strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the developmental disabilities field.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Experience supervising or leading a team is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with good decision-making and time-management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure individuals served receive quality services and are engaged with the community.
• Coordinate and manage all services and supports for individuals, including medical appointments, household management, behavior support, finances and benefits.
• Use behavioral health interventions to improve outcomes for individuals served.
• Develop and implement behavior support strategies and assess their effectiveness, including staff training.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure clear communication and strong customer service.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and ensure thorough training and high-quality care.
• Monitor staffing hours to provide appropriate services and coverage for all shifts.
• Provide excellent customer service to individuals, families/guardians, and the county board.

At ViaQuest Residential Services we provide quality support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes.

Responsibilities may include:

• Ensure that the individuals we serve are receiving quality services and are engaged with the community.
• Coordinate and manage all services and supports for the individuals served, including medical appointments, household management, behavior management, financial services, benefits, etc.
• Use behavioral health interventions to improve outcomes for individuals served.
• Assist in the ongoing development of behavior support strategies and ensuring the implementation of these strategies, including providing training and assessing the effectiveness of the behavior support.
• Collaborate with all members of the individuals’ service team to ensure great communication and customer service is in place.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and make sure they are thoroughly trained and providing the best possible services.
• Monitor staffing hours to ensure appropriate services are provided and coverage is in place for all shifts.
• Provide great customer service to individuals served, families/guardians, the county board, and all members of the service team.

Requirements for this position include:

• High school diploma/GED or higher.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Displays strong communication skills and possess excellent decision-making and time-management skills.
