ViaQuest in Dublin, OH seeks a Payee Specialist to manage individuals’ finances and ensure timely bill payments. The role operates Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with comprehensive training and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring service-plan finances, maintaining checks and online bill pay setups, and coordinating monthly reconciliations with program managers to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Formación

• Candidates without a degree but who have 3 years pf experience in accounting or developmental disabilities will also be considered.
• Four-year degree in accounting, social services or human services is preferred.
• Experience working in Microsoft products, such as Excel and Word.

• Monitor individual’s finances and benefits as outlined in the individual’s service plan and per company policy.
• Ensure individual’s basic needs such as rent, utilities, etc. are paid consistently and timely.
• Ensure spending money and petty cash is available at each site per the individual’s service plan.
• Submit cost of living to county boards, as applicable.
• Order checks for individuals timely.
• Set up online bill pay for individuals, as applicable.
• Review monthly finance packets and complete monthly reconciliation of bank accounts.
• Work collaboratively with Program Managers and other management to ensure accuracy with individual’s finances.
