The Aging and Disability Services Division in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Psychological Developmental Counselor II to provide developmental assessments, counseling, and family support for children at risk of delays or disabilities.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in psychology, counseling, education, or closely related field.
  • Two years of post-Master's degree experience in providing standardized testing, counseling and intervention.
  • One year of the required experience must have included performing developmental standardized testing of pre-school and/or school-age children.
  • Able to administer, score and interpret standardized assessments and develop treatment plans.

Responsibilities

  • Provide developmental assessments, counseling, and family support for children at risk of delays or disabilities.
  • Conduct evaluations, prepare reports, and make treatment recommendations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Participate in IFSP development and coordinate with clinic and community resources.
