Job summary

The State of Nevada Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) in Reno seeks a Licensed Psychologist 1 to provide psychological testing, evaluation, psychotherapy, counseling and consultation for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including Autism and brain injury, in community-based services.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, develop treatment plans, supervise staff, and support crisis intervention and quality care in line with ethical and regulatory

Qualifications

• One year of post-doctoral experience in providing psychological services in an inpatient, outpatient or residential setting.
• Administer, score and interpret a wide variety of diagnostic and projective tests to evaluate and diagnose clients; write comprehensive psychological reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological testing, evaluation, psychotherapy, counseling and consultation to clients.
• Deliver behavioral support and facilitation of individual, family and group therapies.
• Participate in treatment team meetings; develop treatment plans and functional analysis programs.
• Provide crisis intervention and ensure service delivery goals are met; document services per policy.
