State of North Carolina’s Caswell Developmental Center seeks a Health Care Technician II to support the well-being and development of residents. You will implement habilitation plans, assist with daily living activities, and participate in training and classroom tasks to promote independence.

Responsibilities include transportation, documentation, and teamwork with staff. A driver’s license is preferred, with a sign-on bonus possible depending on budget and eligibility.

Formación

• Requires High school diploma or GED and 1 year related experience.
• Knowledge of approved behavioral intervention programs preferred.
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure physical and emotional well-being of assigned individuals.
• Implement clients’ habilitation and training plans.
• Assist with personal care, home living, socialization, leisure and safety.
• Assist in teaching daily living and other skills.
• Assist in classroom and other training areas.
• Transport individuals to activities, classes and appointments.
• Shop for individuals as needed.
• Provide emergency treatment for seizures or accidents.
• Perform housekeeping duties and maintain records.
