Job summary

State of North Carolina - Health & Human Services at Caswell Developmental Center seeks a Health Care Technician II to support residents with developmental disabilities. You will implement habilitation plans, assist with personal care and daily living activities, and help transport individuals to classes and appointments.

You will document progress, support safety, and contribute to team efforts in a dynamic care environment on site in Caswell County.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with one year of related work experience.
• Nurse Aide I/II listing and EMT certification may be required as applicable.
• Strong documentation and note-taking for client progress and behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, home living, socialization, leisure and safety.
• Implement clients' habilitation and training plans.
• Transport individuals to activities, classes and appointments; assist in teaching daily living skills.
• Record keeping and documentation; housekeeping as specified.
