Job summary

Austin History Center Association in Downtown Austin is seeking a Development and Volunteer Coordinator to grow annual revenue, expand volunteer programs, and support AHCA's mission. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will manage day-to-day donor pipeline operations, cultivate donors, and pursue grant funding and sponsorship opportunities.

This in-person role offers a hybrid schedule with some remote work, full-time hours, and benefits including comprehensive health coverage and flexible

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of fundraising experience across the donor pipeline.
• Grant writing experience required or highly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds with respect and sensitivity.
• Experience with volunteer program management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute day-to-day donor pipeline operations, cultivating and stewarding donors to ensure revenue growth.
• Coordinate and grow AHCA volunteer roles to support the Austin History Center’s operations.
• Maintain donor CRM databases with accurate data entries and reporting.
• Identify and pursue additional revenue opportunities through grants, sponsorships, and sales.
