Job summary

LifeWorks in Austin, TX is seeking a Development Systems & Engagement Manager to join the Strategic Partnerships team. The role oversees Neon CRM, gift processing, dashboards, and key workflows, while supervising the Volunteer & Events Coordinator.

Reporting to the Chief Mission Officer, you will ensure data integrity, provide insights, and streamline processes to support fundraising and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (minimum) and 3+ years in data/project management or related field.
• Nonprofit environment experience preferred.
• Proven success optimizing CRM systems to support fundraising and donor engagement.
• Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills with attention to data accuracy.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights and dashboards.
• Experience tracking metrics and KPIs for fundraising performance.

Responsibilities

• Administers and maintains Neon CRM for donor data.
• Manages CRM upgrades, permissions, data standards, imports, and staff training.
• Imports donor data from workplace giving platforms and third-party sources.
• Oversees gift processing and accurate coding of contributions (monetary, in-kind, matching, events).
• Coordinates in-kind gift documentation and processing.
• Generates donor acknowledgments and ensures proper signatures.
• Maintains pledge records and manages renewal communications.
• Leads reconciliation with Finance and supports revenue reporting.
• Develops dashboards and reports tracking fundraising KPIs and donor activity.
• Analyzes fundraising data to support planning and donor strategy.
