Job summary

The City of San Antonio seeks a seasoned supervisor to oversee the commercial and residential development intake and plan review at the One Stop Center. You will resolve customer issues, coordinate with boards and commissions, and supervise assigned staff in a primarily office setting.

Responsibilities include directing plan intake, counter reviews, and transportation of plans to storage facilities. You will engage with monthly meetings, training, and audit processes to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Four years of experience processing or supervising development related projects.
• Valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License.
• Must obtain ICC Permit Technician certification within one year of employment.
• Preferred: Certified ICC Permit Technician.
• Experience with Accela software (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervises the overall operation of commercial, residential and licensing activity at the One Stop Counter, including plan intake, counter plan review, trade permits and other activities.
• Coordinates work activity of the commercial, residential and licensing counter staff with other sections.
• Oversees consultation services regarding the commercial and residential development process.
• Develops goals and objectives for the section.
• Oversees and transports residential and commercial construction plans to City storage facilities and Bexar County Records.
• Meets with board members and commission staff at various locations for monthly meetings, training, and audit processes.
• Performs various administrative functions and other assigned duties.
